#ParentsDoCare

Started by Fort Worth native and Highland Hills neighborhood resident, Trenace Dorsey-Hollins, Parent Shield Fort Worth is a grassroots movement of parents, guardians, caretakers, and community members that strongly believe every child in Fort Worth should receive a high quality education, inclusive of all students; which develops their potential and prepares them to be successful adults.

Our mission is to educate and unite powerful parents to demand a high quality education for all children.

“If we want to improve education in this district, it’s a must that the math and reading outcomes improve. The district needs to focus on recruiting and retaining qualified teachers, and ensuring that all resources are provided to enrich our children’s education. Parents have had to accept this for far too long for our babies, but we are their protection and the first line in their defense. We stand together as the PARENT SHIELD.”
