Deadline to request your ballot: April 22
Can’t make it in person? You can still show up with a vote-by-mail ballot. Here’s how it’s done:
Download your application here or call your local or county office to request an application be sent to you. Here’s a Spanish version of the application.
Address your application and then mail or fax it to the Early Voting Clerk by April 22. Find contact info here.
Your ballot will be mailed to you.
Mail your ballot back to your local Early Voting Clerk or drop it off in-person at your local Early Voting Clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on May 3. Find address info here.

Early voting runs from April 22-29

You do not have to meet any special qualifications to vote early in-person – if you are registered and qualified to vote on Election Day, you can also cast a ballot during the early voting period.

Make sure you’re eligible to vote!
To register to vote in the state of Texas you must:
Be a resident of the county you’re voting in.
Be a United States citizen.
Be 18 years old on or before Election Day (you can register at 17 years and 10 months).
Not be serving a sentence (including parole or probation) for a felony conviction.
Not have been declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law.
If you’re not eligible to vote, you can still support us by:
Sharing voter registration, early voting deadlines, and Election Day information on social media.
Encouraging friends and family to vote.
